Service slow and orders were not quite right. I ordered a quesidilla burger that didn't have any Mexican flair at all. I would suggest a thinner burger, served with quesidilla cheese instead of Colby jack, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, and beans and rice instead of sweet potato fries.

Decent food. Steaks were overcooked, but not to the point of being inedible. Service staff is hit or miss. Perfectly friendly, but not necessarily on top of things in a timely manner.
Veterans Day free meal:. Courteous staff, good service and good good. The manager stopped, asked if everything was ok, and listened to us tell him how pleased we we're with the food. Theirs was the best being offered in the area.
I went to Applebee's in Clawson on 14 Mile yesterday for a rare family lunch/dinner with my sister, mother and grandmother. All four of us loved the dishes we chose! We're picky, that hardly ever happens! My mother asked our server if a particular entree on the menu was good or not. To our surprise our server was completely honest and said that she didn't like it at all. However, after an explanation and a few questions she declared that she thinks my mom would actually like the dish. Everywhere you go that involves service the employees generally tell you what you want to hear... It was a Saturday about 2pm, the restaurant was busy but quiet. Very clean. To be honest I was a little disappointed that my grandmother chose Applebee's, I didn't think I was going to be happy with the food and my sister felt the same way. I can't believe we all walked out with full stomachs and big smiles!
