Constant bickering with patrons who are trying to get work and reading accomplished. I assume Madison Heights is quite a small town. Well if they're not careful the city's going to be involved in a lawsuit concerning civil rights. Futhermore these Librarians are mimicing the exclamations, during the day, of some of our Special Needs Children. When confronted regarding probable investigation the Librarian responds by referring to complaintants as people that have come in "stumbling around" on several occasions. Criminal? What does common sense tell you?
This has been my library for over 40 years. It’s not fancy and I do see some of the same paintings from my childhood. However, I use the library network to get whatever book (s) the boys and I want. I use the internet, fax and copy machine every month. Like I said, it’s not fancy but it meets my needs. The staff has always been friendly.
Everyone that works there is kind and very helpful. It is very clean and the atmosphere is wonderful. There is one lady that works there that doesn't let rude people talk on their Cell Phones. I really like her!!!
I had the nicest lady assist me in making copies for important project. It's been awhile and my office skills have not been used in years. She helped me so much and it was greatly appreciated. To others who had a bad experience, did you smile and be nice? You get what you give!!
Terrible customer service, rude, and didn't even have to courtesy to say hello. I saw atleast 3 library employees and waited for atleast 10 minutes before I was stared at for 5 seconds as if he was annoyed with my presence or that he had to service me. Although this is the library in my neighborhood I'll continue to go to my old library before I come back here.
