The only thing I don't like is that their sales staff work on commission. Be ready for employees to constantly ask you if you need any help.They could improve the audio section of the store also.
Nerd heaven in the most respectful way possible. If you want tech stuff they have it in spades. Helpful salespeople, huge selection and the entire cast of the big bang theory shops here regularly.
This place is a computer nerds paradise. There is a isle strictly for keyboards and mice. The build your own pc section is loaded with all kinds of goodies. Pay attention to their sales circular for good deals. Plus it's one of the only places you can find BAWLS energy drinks.
During busy times online ordering and pickup is a huge time saver. Online pick up is on the south wall of the building. Lines can be long at times even with 4 or more registers open.
The best place to get electronics in the Detroit area. Personnel is also pretty knowledgeable so don't hesitate to ask for advice if you have questions. Saturday afternoons is chaos though, so you may want to visit the place at different times not to be stuck in a 30 minutes line to the cashier.
I would give it five but the line to cash out kills me every time. With all the technology they have in store i would think they would have employees with iPads cashing people out in line. With simple purchases only. Step it up with the times. This is Micro Center you have everything you need in a store to get us out of here. NOT WAIT TWO HOURS IN LINE. And i come often not just on the holidays this line is out of control. It’s just killing me on how you guys haven’t found out how to make the customer experience better. Well let me tell you..... More cashiers better checkout time. In and out PERIOD.
